Police Clearance Bd Online Registration Process
To get a Police Clearance Certificate, you have to fill out the form through online registration. If you want to apply for a Police Clearance Certificate online, follow the steps below:-
Account Registration
- First, you need to open any browser and visit the police clearance website: https://pcc.police.gov.bd/ords/pcc2/r/pcc/home.
- When you visit the website, you will see the registration button; click on it. Now, a form will appear; fill it out correctly.
- Here, in the name field, enter your name in capital letters as per your passport. Then, enter your email, phone number, and NID number, respectively.
- Then, enter your password and fill in the captcha below. If you are a foreign citizen or child, then tick foreign/child here.
Mobile number verification
- Now a code will be sent to your number to verify your number.
- Verify your number through an SMS with the code from the mobile number you provided. Send the SMS to 26969.
- Once your account is verified, you will receive the message
- “Your account is successfully verified.”
- Now, sign in with your mobile number and password.
Selecting the purpose of police clearance
Then click on Apply from the top menu bar. Here, you need to select why you need a police clearance. If you are applying for a police clearance certificate to go abroad, tick Go abroad here and select the name of the country below it.
Personal information
Enter all the information according to your legal documents. And upload a passport-size photo. The size of the photo will be a maximum of 150kb.
Address
Enter your emergency current and permanent contact address according to your passport.
Upload the required documents
Upload your passport and national identity card here. If you do not have a national identity card, you will need to provide a birth registration certificate or a certificate from the ward councilor.
Verify the information

Checking Police Clearance Status
You can check the latest status of your Polish clearance by sending an SMS from your mobile. For this, you will need your application reference number. Go to the message option and type PCC S followed by your reference number and send to 26969.
Police Clearance Certificate Delivery Time
A police Clearance Certificate is usually ready within 7 to 15 working days. However, the delivery time may depend on a few factors, such as Police Verification; after applying, the local police station in your area will contact you for police verification. What documents are required for police clearance?
The documents you will need to apply for a Police Clearance Certificate are:
- To obtain a police clearance certificate, your passport must be valid for at least 3 months.
- When applying, you must use either your permanent or emergency address, as shown on your passport, as your current address. Note that you must be a resident of the address you provide.
- Suppose your passport is machine-readable, and the address is not mentioned in the passport. In that case, you will need to submit your National Identity Card or Birth Certificate or Local Ward Councilor’s certificate attested by a first-class Gazetted Officer as proof of address.
- Suppose you are residing abroad and want a police clearance certificate. In that case, you must submit a certified copy of the passport information page by the Bangladesh Embassy or High Commission of the country where you are residing along with the application.
- Those who have issued or reissued their passports from outside the country must submit a scanned copy of the page containing the latest arrival seal to obtain police clearance.
- Those who are abroad but want to obtain a police clearance certificate will need to upload a permission letter with the application after verifying the person through whom you will collect the certificate.
- Police clearance challan code: 1-7301-0001-2681 code: Treasury challan worth 500 takas from any branch of Bangladesh Bank or Sonali Bank or pay the fee along with the prescribed service charge online.
